Our two tour guides, Carla Paz and Nacho were AMAZING and they truly loved sharing their knowledge of the park and their upbringings in Chile/Puerto Natales. We were beyond happy to have had two guides who were so energetic and informative throughout the whole time and we really got to know each other. Every single thing was planned out for us, from the transportation, to lodging, lunches, and delicious meals back at the camp. We are so happy that we chose Swoop and we would definitely work with them again in the future. Read the full review

The first day “glamping” was a nice beginning to our trek. Since from then on it was tents and refugios we appreciated that early comfort. Read the full review

We had dinner with our guide and driver at the Serrano camp – we laughed and shared stories by the fire. The food and beverages were great and the company was even better. I was so pleasantly surprised to meet so many people who spoke English and translated for us. Our Chile Nativo guide was AMAZING – his name is Vincenzo. He has so much passion and enthusiasm for Patagonia – the land, flowers, trees, animals, food, etc. I feel so lucky that we had him. Read the full review

Review:

Why we like this hotel

  • It's situated in a stunning spot—away from the crowds—an ideal base camp for the W Trek and other Torres del Paine excursions
  • Deluxe tents are comfortable with thick mattress beds, duvets, pillows and heated blankets!
  • You won't go hungry with a tasty, well-earned 4-course gourmet dinner and full buffet breakfast to set you up for a day's hiking
  • There's a growing focus on sustainability with the menu, camp design and a number of zero-waste initiatives
  • Wake up to fabulous views of the Paine Massif each day

We think it's worth noting

  • Being a new creation the camp may feel exposed and cold due to a lack of trees and windbreaks
  • The noise produced by the electric generator may disturb some guests' sleep

The camp boasts a splendid view of the Paine Massif; I loved waking up in the morning and sipping a coffee with THAT view in front of me.
