Life Before Swoop
When I finished high school I studied Hotel Management and worked in several different luxury hotels, but my first trip to Patagonia—San Martin de los Andes—changed my life.
So on my return to the city, I started studying to become a mountain guide. This is how I ended up doing seasons in El Chalten and started working as a Tour Leader, taking groups from all over the world to Argentinean and Chilean Patagonia and to Iguazu Falls, spreading my love for nature and wildlife in each trip.
My Patagonia Experience
I’ve travelled for both pleasure and work to some of the most amazing places in South America. I’ve visited Machu Picchu, Colca Canyon and Amazonas Jungle in Peru. Uyuni Salt flats in Bolivia. The Atacama desert and Santiago in Chile.
And last but not least, I’ve travelled throughout Argentina as long as I can remember, I started in the north, in Salta and Jujuy, spent some time working at Iguazu Falls, enjoyed Mendoza’s wineries and adventure activities; and visited Puerto Madryn where whales, sea lions and penguins made me feel at home.
But my heart belongs to Patagonia, I’ve lived in El Bolson (part of the lake district in Argentina), I did some seasons in El Chalten and El Calafate, and worked as a Tour Leader taking groups of adventurers to the Lake district both in Chile and Argentina, to the breathtaking Perito Moreno glacier and the magic town of El Chalten, to the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park and ending with superb views of the Beagle channel in Ushuaia.
Why I Love Patagonia
Patagonia is a trekking paradise! As a former mountain guide, it's my place on earth, and I try to get back to it whenever I can. It has a variety of landscapes and places to visit, from lakes, glaciers, mountains, forests, steppes, to small towns that invite you to get lost in them and breathe in their magic.
You will find fauna like nowhere else in the world, pumas, guanacos, condors, huemuls, and choiques.
It's a unique place on earth that is worth visiting at least once in your life.
Day to Day at Swoop
As an Assistant Sales Manager from Patagonia at Swoop, I split my days between customers and the team. Trying to create everlasting memories for guests and support the team in everything I can.

The Next Adventure
I would love to see Patagonia from a different perspective, so taking a cruise to get to places you can't reach on foot will be my next adventure in the area!
