What was your most memorable moment?
Reaching the summit in the fossil hike. The description was underwhelming but the hike was an exceptional mix of forest, pasture, and barren mountain top with incomparable views. It would also be helpful to mention it is a 600 meter vertical climb.

Our stay at El Guadal was our favorite part of the trip. a solid ten. and cerro guido was unexpectedly fabmntastic. a real delighter. Here are some gaps: inconsistent attention to vegetarian diets, lack of full information on San Rafael glacier trip (when we discovered it required more than 8 hours of driving on rutted dirt roads. we bailed), and unrealistic plan for visit to marble caves on way to airport. no way the timing would have worked.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Please give more information about each activity, including hikes. note,. the base of the towers hike is really 22k. not 18k as advertised. this put it slightly beyond our reach but Baru helped us find a suitable alternative.

In addition to above, we had unnecessary confusion zbout the itinerary on our day trip to Valparaiso, including location of restaurant, which was never named in the emails. this required a lot of annoying effort to sort out. however, in the end it was a great day and fabulous trip overall that exceeded our expectations. thank you, lewis and swoop.
