Group trekking tours in Patagonia

Patagonia is a hiker's paradise with world class trails. Whether you're looking to see the highlights on the famous W Trek or go off the beaten track somewhere more remote, there are group trekking trips in every region of Patagonia.

Most group trekking tours come packaged with fixed itineraries, dates and prices, making them easy to plan around to give you peace of mind. Group sizes tend to be around 15 travellers at most, and you'll really get to know each other as you discover Patagonia's scenery together.

Self-guided and private hiking

If you have a little more experience hiking and like the sound of exploring on your own schedule, there are lots of trails which you can explore either independently or with a private guide. These range from multi-day hikes to day hikes from a base, and often mean you can get a little off the beaten track.

For those for whom hiking is a passion, ask us about linking together hikes in a few different destinations as part of your trip to Patagonia, enabling you to tick off many of the trekking gems of South America. Your itinerary could combine hiking and trekking through rainforests, over the ice cap, climbing mountains, traversing steppe and skirting lakes and volcanoes in the lake district.

What our customers think of Patagonia Hiking Tours

Patagonia Hiking Tours trips scored 4.4/5 from 1751 reviews

Our guides made the hike for us. They were incredibly knowledgable and kind. They were very fun and personable to be with essentially 24/7 for the days of the hike and I could tell genuinely cared for our safety and well being. I would definitely recommend having guides to other hikers and travelers because they were able to set a pace that made sure we were where we needed to be and when. Read the full review

It's difficult to pick one moment over an 8 day period. One of the greatest moments was reminiscing about the trip just as we completed the trek. Discussing how humbling the entire experience was, along with the pain, laughs, and knowledge gained. Read the full review

Not only was it the most physically demanding experience, it is very emotional and mental. During the trek you rethink all your decisions that got you there, when you're done you're ready to plan the next trip. Read the full review
