One of the few hotels run by gauchos, this hotel immerses you in Patagonian culture from the moment you step over the threshold. Spend your days horse riding with the masters, and in the evenings relax amongst the natural wooden decor, and watch the mountains change colour through panoramic windows.
Pampa lodge has perfected the art of being at one with nature. Bright, natural decor and stunning views make it an ideal option for those seeking some tranquility off the beaten track. Expect an authentic, comfortable experience, perfect for a night's stay after your hiking adventure in the park or if you're kayaking out of the park on the Rio Serrano.
With a team of 35 horses and ever-changing scenery on their doorstep, Pampa Lodge offers outstanding opportunities to discover Torres del Paine on horseback. Their excursions range from 3 to 8 hours in the saddle, during which time you'll journey through forests and pampa, past crystal turquoise glaciers and along the shores of the Serrano river.
You can also try your hand at fly fishing nearby, and the lodge is a popular stopover for those kayaking down the Serrano River.
Pampa Lodge is located just on the boundary to the park, as part of a small cluster of hotels on the Serrano River called Serano Village. The views of the mountains soaring up in the distance is spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset when the sky plays out intense reds, oranges and pinks.
For fishing and horse riding the location is perfect, step out of the door and the huge river and rolling pampa are there ready to be explored.
I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel - the scent used in reception is lovely. The views are unmatched - you see nothing between you and the Massif except the trees and a wooden fence. The rooms are exactly as in the photos. The food is exceptional, and the welcome drinks are always welcome. The bar/lounge area is Scandi-chic style, minimal but warm with lots of sitting areas.

The lodge has 9 double rooms, each thoughtfully decorated in a calm and cosy style, ensuring a good night's sleep. Each room has a view of the Paine Massif, and rooms come with either twin or double beds.
The one triple room is perfect for a family, or a group of friends. Decorated in the same authentic style, the views out on the mountains are truly spectacular.
