Peace in nature in the purest sense. It's a prime place to disconnect and enjoy being a human. In summary, it was surfing on rainbows. Thunder Pass day 2 is the pinnacle and the progression of the features along the trail really delivers. The great weather was the biggest surprise, our expectations were (properly) set for inclement weather. The crew was absolutely fantastic, friendly and funny when we needed it, highly professional when it mattered. Couldn't have asked for more.

Our trip was excellent overall. A big highlight was the vistas we got to see on our trek, as they are unlike anything you’d see anywhere else.

Exceptional. Highlight was our stay at EcoCamp; between the brilliant guides (all our guides were young exceptional women which made it extra special), the people we met there, the hikes/activities, the overall experience was top notch. The FANTASTIC guides; Marcela, Angie, Francesca, Claire and our server Ingrid are women I will talk about and remember for a long long time. I find it incredible and inspiring that young people in their 20s are so dedicated to this type of work. They work long hours and consistently had a smile on their face and each had so much knowledge to share. In another life, I want to be them!

I really enjoyed the trek to the Tores Mirador. The Guides (Mauricio and Alvaro) were absolutely amazing - they made the trip for me. They were friendly and I enjoyed speaking with them and learning about the culture and life in Patagonia. The final trek to the Tores were amazing, we were rewarded with fantastic views.

Successfuly summiting the John Garner pass during a snow storm & wind. The beauty of the entire hike and the coordination & guidance of Ian & Fio to keep our group informed, motivated & safe.

Our visit was memorable, a mixture of city/town life and the great outdoors. Just moosying around Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales at our leisure, either taking in the museums or the varied bars and cafes, to get a feel for the culture and history was so rewarding. Then there was the Torres big circuit, the challenge of the weather and the spectacular scenery....where would one begin - just do it and live the experience? And then while you are enjoying the scenery, there is the wildlife to watch out for, whether this be for the birding - which if you lucky and knowledgeable about is great, or the elusive puma - and yes, we saw one! Of course there is then the new found friendships;- fellow hikers on your 'tour', other hikers as the sites and in our case the exceptional guides and support staff. Yes, we had some moments....cold, wet, thigh deep snow and more rain but hey what are waterproofs for :).

Completing the O circuit with my wife at ages 68 and 67 and still being ready to travel on to the Fitzroy range for another 5 days of hiking.

Hiking the French Valley

How can I answer this? The glaciers of Patagonia, Eco camp as a base for fantastic food, adventures and friends, the Ventus Australis for sophisticated exploration and great information ( as well as making new contacts), Puerta Varas for adventures and the best guides on the planet plus so much more.

Standing by the glittering turquoise lake Azul and torrent Salto Grande waterfalls, in the distance the snow-capped peaks - one of the most dramatically beautiful landscapes in the world. I have fallen in love with this wild and barren land of unique natural beauty: I stand facing this magnificent scene grateful for every breath I take. The rough and lonely countryside around the Nordenskiöld lake, free of any of the troubles of this world. To emerge yourself here is to forget anything unkind

The highlight of the trip was the wildlife. Just being in their land knowing that you are just visiting is an experience beyond words.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Explora at the Patagonia National Park!! This was my first time at their hotel and it was perfect! The accommodation and hotel grounds were amazing. All the personnel and guides were wonderful. And the food was fantastic- I have never eaten so well- and as a foodie, I felt I was in heaven?. The excursions were very well organized and beautiful. This lovely park is much less traveled than other Patagonia destinations and I enjoyed the solitude on the trails. My most memorable moment was when I spotted a puma from a hot tub! The puma was lying in the grass waiting to get darker so it could go feast on the guanaco that it killed a couple of days ago nearby. What an amazing trip!

Seeing a part of the world I’d never dreamed I’d be part of. The landscape and the people were so magical.

The hikes to Towers and Fitz Roy. The vastness of the steppe and the beauty of the mountains and glaciers. The guides at Torres Del Paine were outstanding. The restaurants in El Chalten were excellent.
