I had so many.....walking with the penguins, standing before the most beautiful glaciers, hiking in Torres del Paine, and staring at the most incredible scenery ever!

The circuit trek in Torre del Paine was by far the highlight. The remoteness and the untouched nature were amazing. Both of our guides on the hikes were amazing! The simple and quiet beauty is what we will remember forever.

There were many, but I will list 3: (1) Thanks to a recommendation by Swoop Patagonia, I signed up for a full day at Estancia La Peninsula. Our guide, Violeta was fantastic and very engaging. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Donald was busy as well as the captain of the boat, shepherd, sheep shearer, and lead guide for the horseback ride. The Patagonia sheep dogs (Barbucho) are so much fun to watch as they herd the sheep on Donald's command. The family and staff at Estancia La Peninsula, obviously love to what they do and are preserving the culture of estancia life in Patagonia. (2) Thanks to a recommendation by Swoop Patagonia, I signed up for the Southern Patagonia Glaciers Cruise (Kaweskar Route), on Skorpios III and everything about the cruise was outstanding!! The Captain and his staff were fantastic hosts. I especially appreciated the open bridge policy and I spent as much time outside on deck and on the Bridge as I could. The food was amazing, especially the Captain's dinner buffet. The fresh seafood was a delight. The views, of course were incredible. We transferred to a smaller vessel, the Capitán Constantino, which navigated through the ice for a closer look at the glacier and the crew served whiskey with ice plucked right out of the fjord! The two guides were great, and Luis gave several outstanding talks during the cruise. (3) My cruise out of Punta Arenas on Stella Australis, the Wildlife, Glaciers & Cape Horn Cruise, was outstanding. The weather cooperated and all excursions, including the landing at Cape Horn were successful. The Stella Australis staff was top-notch, and my waiter and the bar tenders were really nice and helpful. The expedition staff made the excursions fun and informative. The views, of course, were incredible.

We loved Argentina and Patagonia. The views and hikes were incredible. Truly. The day and hike to Mt Fitz Roy will remain a lifelong memory. We did not see any wildlife - so I am sorry about that. The people were generous and warm and welcoming. Surprised by how closed down things were over the holidays - Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Things just shut down. Good to know if you are planning a trip to have other things planned.

Patagonia was full of the most gorgeous landscapes, wildness, and authentic people. We had adventures, ate amazing foods, and made friends that we still keep in touch with. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

Hard to pick out one moment. Maybe going up to Lago Del Desierto. I thought I would not be able to get up there when I saw the ropes, but they actually helped a lot. I was blown away by the beauty of the site. Also, the glacier! I'd not read up on it prior to the trip. I just knew it was a large group excursion. I was kicking myself once we arrived and the saw the grandeur and awesome beauty of the glacier. The scale of the thing is so very humbling. Also most important to me was the opportunity to share the awesome experience with loved ones.

The Perito Moreno glacier was the most breathtaking and unusual, but loved all of the scenery in Patagonia. What a wonder. And loved Pat camp

How can a person select one when there were so many...I'd say top 5 include the trek on Perito Moreno Glacier, Kayaking La Leona / Hiking Los Hornos, Hiking to & Lunching at Cerro Torre, Hike to & View from Toro Lookout, & Huemul Glacier / Lago Desierto.

Hiking in Torres del Paine was incredible. We loved being in Patagonia Camp and the various trails we hiked. Base of the Towers hike was truly memorable.

We loved our time in Patagonia and appreciated all the diverse experiences we had while there - hiking, kayaking, socializing with other international travelers. The landscape was stunning and our fellow hikers made for great traveling companions.

Our trip was perfectly split into 3 segments: Australis cruise, Explora, and Barraco Lodge. Each allowed a completely different way to see and experience the beauty and wonder of Patagonia. We loved it!

We had many fantastic and memorable moments but getting to Las Torres was incredible. The weather held up and the view of the towers was amazing over the lake. Absolutely wonderful.

There really wasn't one magic moment, but rather a whole series of them. Perhaps the most stunning vistas, like Mt. Fitz Roy with no clouds, but always the sense of gratitude at our privilege to be standing there in that moment.

Torres del Paine was spectacularly beautiful and the adventure in the wind on Lago Grey was unique. Traveling companions were wonderful people and easily adaptable to the changing schedules.

Seeing ALL the marine life in Peninsula Valdez. AMazed that you can see so many Southern Right Whales breeching and playing with their calves from El Doradillo Beach!

Hiking to the Base Torres. The excursion was everything it could be in one day. All. Four. Seasons. A few minutes into our early morning start in the dark, we were all donning our waterproof gear as the clouds opened up and greeted us with rain. As daylight broke, the rain turned to snow. As we plodded on and upwards, the clouds descended to meet us. It was not looking to be a clear summit day. Our guide kept the positivity going by introducing a little “trail mindfulness.” Faced with one more uphill push, he reminded us that it is only hard if you think it is hard. We had not expected motivational speaking but then again, Explora continued to pleasantly surprise us. And our guide's positive thinking paid off. At the final ascent the clouds parted to reveal blue sky and we were greeted with warm sunshine for lunch at the Towers as they showed off their full glory. And when we began our descent, the clouds reappeared as if they were curtains at the end of a fantastic theater show. Hikers still on their ascent were not to be so lucky.

The two day long treks we took, while arduous, were breathtaking. The park is a truly wonderful place to see for those who love raw nature.

Highlights were the continuous views of the mountains, glaciers and lakes. Kayaking at Glacier Grey was our magical moment of the trip. We had a great group and our guides were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and engaging.
