The trek was extremely challenging, both physically and mentally. The landscapes are incredible. The people I met were likeminded and a pleasure to be with. I think, the terrain was the biggest surprise in terms of the difficulty levels associated with ascent/descent and underfoot.

Highlight was the scenery without a doubt: the Torres, Paine Grande, Los Cuernos, and everything in between. Whether it was snowy, rainy or a beautiful day full of sunshine, we loved every minute of the W trek. We saw many foxes, rabbits, condores and other birds, surprisingly few guanacos.

How can I answer this? The glaciers of Patagonia, Eco camp as a base for fantastic food, adventures and friends, the Ventus Australis for sophisticated exploration and great information ( as well as making new contacts), Puerta Varas for adventures and the best guides on the planet plus so much more.
