Running past the small town of Junin de los Andes, Rio Chimehuin is the river which gave northern Patagonia its reputation as one of the world's top fly fishing destinations. You can fish the river's Brown and Rainbow trout from drift boats or by wading out into the water, and the clear waters allow for a wide range of techniques. Rio Chimehuin is easily accessible from the nearby Estancia Huechahue.
