Lago Puelo
Perhaps one of the bluest lakes in the Argentinian lake district, Lago Puelo is vast and calm, apart from the fast flowing rapids in the middle of the lake, which can be crossed on a motor boat. After crossing Puelo, you're about a hour's drive from El Bolson, a small hippy town, with a small market selling artesan products and good ice cream parlours. For best views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance, get up early and catch Ken's motor boat across the lake whilst there's still some mist.
