Puerto Natales Luxury Lodge

Day 1: Transfer to Remota; Bike/horse ride

This morning you'll arrive at Puerto Natales Airport and take a transfer to Remota. After you've settled in there will a choice of a bike or horse riding excursion.

The biking excursion starts at Estancia Los Rebaños from where you'll descend through a lenga forest to reach the shore of Lake Balmaceda. You'll follow the lake on an old cart trail, crossing streams, fences and wetlands. Towards the end of this ride you'll get some fantastic views of the Patagonian Andes, Mt Rotundo and the Almirante Montt Gulf.

If you choose to take the horse riding excursion you'll be drive about 30mins to a traditional Patagonian ranch and be met by a gaucho who will lead you on your ride. The route passes through the magnificent Patagonian landscape, with a backdrop of mountains. During the ride you'll take a break to enjoy some mate - a traditional hot tea beverage, popular in Patagonia.

Day 2: Hike to the Towers

This full-day excursion visits one of the most iconic sights of the region and is not to be missed.

You'll start with a 90-minute drive to Cerro Paine. To reach the Ascencio Valley you'll ascend the Paso de los Vientos (Pass of the Wind) from where there will be amazing views of the pampa and lakes.

You'll continue up the valley, through an old lenga forest to the beginning of a glacial moraine which will lead you to the viewpoint at the base of the Towers.

After time to rest and take photos, you'll retrace your steps back to the trailhead.

Day 3: Lake Grey boat trip

After breakfast you'll leave the lodge and drive to Torres del Paine National Park, visiting viewpoints at Lake del Toro, Los Cuernos and the Grey Glacier.

You'll then take a boat trip on Lake Grey for three hours, surrounded by icebergs and majestic mountains. The boat will get close to the 20-metre high ice wall - a truly stunning sight.

Day 4: Transfer to Puerto Natales Airport

After breakfast you will take a transfer to Puerto Natales Airport for your onward flight.
