Tell us about Tierra del Fuego
I would rave about it but warn them that they may not get the weather. I would tell them to go to Ushuaia and get a last minute berth there to save thousands (as much as I loved the whole trip I thought it was overpriced).
Tell us about the Zodiac
Zodiac access is the way to go. Each guide had character of their own and were entertaining as well as knowledgeable

The food & wines & dining staff were very good. Although there was a lot of eating 3 meals a day, portions were no to large and we were kept hiking and zodiacing so no sense of overdoing it. I appreciate that! Pastry chef was great!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Do the Australis trip in the Ushuaia to Punta Arenas direction. Plan some other activities in Ushuaia like mountain hiking. Check out Port William’s.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. I think Chile has its act together for travelers. I plan to return!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Once I booked the Australis too expensive berth, I felt like swoop didn’t care if I wanted to do anything else like go to Atacama desert so I would probably use a different tour operator in the future. I found Chile very easy to get around as an individual traveler on my own. I’m obviously put off by the pricing.

Very!!!
