The food at the refugios could be improved. Especially at the last two it was particularly bad. Dehydrated eggs?!?! Dinners were also really bad. And of course the incident of 4 women getting terrible food poisoning at the first Refugio. One of those women was in our group. She got hospitalized and missed most of the hike. She’s still badly ill as we are still in touch.
