What was your most memorable moment?

Every moment of the trip was great, from the hikes and views to the knowledgeable and helpful guides to the fine dining experience at the Riverside campsite, but the moment that I particularly loved was waking up to the most beautiful view outside my tent of the mountain range in the background.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Most places can accept card / cashless payments these days, so there's no need to bring much cash (maybe just some USD for tips). The water in Chilean Patagonia (or at least around the W Trek) is drinkable, so there's no need to carry around large amounts of water on hikes! The sun and wind are incredibly strong so bring a sun hat (with a neck strap) and ample sunscreen. Trekking poles are a must both to help with the incline and descent but also to help ground yourself against the wind when crossing windy stretches of the hikes. We didn't have many flies on the trail unlike in Argentinian Patagonia, so that is a plus.
