Our driver Gustavo from Calafate -> Perito Moreno -> Chaten was great. However, his vehicle was very small and cramped for the long hours on the road. It would have been VERY uncomfortable with 4 adults. The van back from Chaten to Calafate was comfy.

Yes! Experiencing a new culture together makes our family better … and more fun.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Traveling in Patagonia is the trip of a lifetime! The landscape is breathtaking and unforgettable, true, but its history is so rich and the people especially proud. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to really experience it all.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We felt adequately prepared for our trek. But nothing can really prepare you for the travel times … Chile is so LONG.
