Punta Arenas - you provided transportation to the Isla Magdalena tour which was only a couple blocks away. It was confusing and unnecessary as it was a simple walk. We told the driver he didn’t have to pick us up afterwards. It was very confusing as we were dropped off at a tourist location, then picked up by a bus that transported us to the boat, 15 minutes away. A better description would have been helpful. Also the driver was an added, unnecessary expense. Argentina and tourist taxes-did not match up with description. We paid something on the way to Iguazú, but not out of Argentina. Not in your control. Argentina Park Fees - more clarity on that as I ended up overpaying. It would have been better to recommend paying when you get there than trying to pay ahead of time.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Do a little research. Argentina is overpriced at the moment.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Better descriptions about certain events would be helpful, like with isla Magdalena. Less focus on floral descriptions, and more on what will actually happen.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Not well prepared. Very nervous. I could have done more research. The packing list was helpful. Though the most useful piece of clothing, which I ended up purchasing in Patagonia, was the buff.
