What was your most memorable moment?
Our guides in Chile were outstanding and extrememly brilliant at explaining GEO things and were entertaining. They also were great at our needs like blisters, cuts, our energy level of the hike and our well being in general. I also loved the fact that they did join us for dinner as we revisited the day. This did not happen in Argentina. We felt rushed and not a lot of conversation between us and the guides. Come to find out one was ill so a new one came and he was very personable which was the last 2 days of our hike. They did answer questions when we had them, however but did not voluteer a lot of info we did not see. They pretty much kept to themselves during our bus ride. Maybe it was because we stayed in an Inn and not at a geodome like Chile.

Tell us about EcoCamp
LOVED EcoCamp. The food was amazing and nothing but smiles and hospitality. Also loved that we stayed in one place to catch shuttle to TH and eat all meals there.
Tell us about the Trekking
Chile guides were amazing. Must admit I have never trekked SO many miles at once and on a daily basis. Only thing we would have liked is to have more time to relax after our hike. I understand that it took all day to do what was planned but we did one day of only 10 miles and got back earlier than other days. It was nice to enjoy the EcoDome on the back porch and speak with other hikers.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Expect the unexpected like weather, animals and friendly and helpful people

I expected an unbelievable trip and it did not disappoint

They were very thorough
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I actually was a bit overwhelmed at all the knowledge and suggestions but would rather be over knowledged than the unknown
