What was your most memorable moment?
The view of the Grey Glacier from John Garner Pass, Dixon Camp, and of course the towers. Eco-Camp was also very special to finish at, a touch of luxury that was not expected.

Tell us about EcoCamp
This place is unreal! Totally unexpected, comfortable, luxury in fact with great food and wine, cocktails too. All with the backdrop of Torres del Paine.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Simply stunning! All the camps were great, forest at Perros was beautiful. French valley also stunning, Dixon and Grey Glacier amazing. Seron Camp is quaint too. Every day was different.
Tell us about the Trekking
Guides Pablo & Alvaro were amazing. Went far and beyond their duty every day. Porters too. Chatty, banter, every day was fun with these guys.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Just do it! We loved both Torres del Paine and El Chalten. Treks are long, but if used to mountain walking in Wales or wider UK, you’ll be fine.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Felt prepared, but with Christmas before, reality of being here didn’t bite until we landed in El Calafate. Then the landscape gets you instantly that you’re in Patagonia.
