Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
LAS TORRES - Although slightly pricey, the establishment provides for everything that a tourist could hope for. Be it food, excursions, views , friendly staff , transport, etc . I would like to put in a good word for all the guides, chefs and in-house staff, they work very hard and deserve more than just hourly wages and tips from tourists.

I would like to recommend lihue milonee my guide for both the excursions ( el chalten), she is a hard working individual who prioritizes the customers health, safety and comfort for every excursion. I hope she gets rewarded for her efforts.

I would like to leave a 3 star review for swoop patagonia and a 5 star review for their travel partners WALK PATAGONIA & LAS TORRES . Walk patagonia- everything from responsiveness, punctuality , flexibility and co-ordination, i was more than impressed with the staff for figuring out the logistics for me and making my trip as comfortable as possible. Swoop patagonia- GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER !! If you're looking to attract tourists from english speaking countries please have your tour coordinators speak fluent English or atleast understand basic English. Your tour coordinators helped me customize my itinerary for this whole trip, although they did a great job, my last day and last excursion as we planned was supposed to be for a mini ice trek on the perito moreno glacier as I had seen instagram posts for the same where tourists are taken on the glacier for a hike and lastly greeted with a glass of scotch served with ice from the glacier which was the biggest selling point for me as I was telling your trip coordinator when I was Inquiring months away before booking my trip and hopped on a phone call to confirm . It got me interested in booking this specific tour for my last day in el calafate, as I was assured I would be having this very experience in perito moreno when I end up travelling to Agrentina. However, as I made my way to the glacier on the day of the excursion, I met with a horrific turn of events as the driver told me I'm not signed up for the mini trek and so I can only walk around the pavement surrounding the glacier . I tried calling both swoop and walk patagonia to rectify this problem but as it turned out I had already missed the last excursion for the glacier walk. Having said that I don't want to point fingers or blame a specific person, I'm certain they do their job very well but look at it from a tourists point of view , im taking time off work , travelling hundreds of miles away from my home country and trusting your travel agency hoping to experience something that interested me over your website and the internet only to be brutally disappointed to not get to experience it . I urge swoop to work on their logistics and hire language compatible personnel to do justice in customizing tourist satisfactory itineraries. Having said that I'm quite hesitant in recommending swoop to my friends and family after my disastrous experience for my last excurison as I felt so down that I didn't even feel like leaving the vehicle but instead asked the driver to drive me back to my hotel. Thank you for everything! don't let these small disparities affect your business and or ruin a tourists dream vacation. Overall your agency did an amazing job but the last excursion sticks out like a sore thumb for which I'm not giving you a 5 star review . Hope you rectify this problem moving forward.
