What was your most memorable moment?
Day 4 of puma tracking. My wife and I spent 3+ hours walking with a puma. It was our best puma outing, and just so happened to also be my birthday. Spending a morning with my wife, walking with a puma in one of the most beautiful places is a lifetime memory.

Tell us about Torres del Paine
Torres del Paine is beautiful. My wife and I appreciated our guide one morning spending about an 1hr driving us thru a section of the park.
Tell us about the Wildlife
In addition to pumas, we saw gray fox, caracara, guanacos, eagles, hares, armadillo, kestrels, condors, rheas, sheep… Much more to this experience than pumas. The towers are also amazing. My wife and I got excited every time we saw them. Our guide stayed in Cerro Castillo, which is about 40 minutes from Cerro Guido. If the guide stayed at the same location it not only would have been more convenient, but also might have allowed more guided time together in the field.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Airline schedules can change as the trip nears.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It reinforces the need for wildlife conservation, habitat and culture preservation.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I thought Danny to a good job helping design the trip, and that Rachel did a good job ensuring trip logistics and answering questions.
