What was your most memorable moment?
There are of course more than one memorable moment. Chalten Camp, and the wind, stormy exciting weather, beautiful hiking, even so. Excellent guides and experiences here. Loved the remoteness, quiet, and feeling we were on our own adventure/ Staff at Chalten Camp were so calm and accommodating without overwhelming. The Fitzroy coming out of the clouds for a spectacular sunset/ Every experience brought us a wealth of memories.

Tell us about the Excursions
All the excursions the timing, the guides were off the chart. There was really not anything I would change, other than having to come home. LOL. The advice we received on the timing of this trip was luckily just right. We had very good weather, and all the daylight of early summer.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
I would have spent more time brushing up my spanish. Although most often not a problem, it would have been nice to feel i was a better communicator in the language of the country. Spend more time on all weather gear. We lucked out, but I fear if we had really rough weather I would not have been totally prepared. That's on me,, but I should have spent more time here. We personally loved that we traveled light avoiding all the long lines to check luggage at the airport.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Travel always changes perspective and this trip no exception. Gaging on how tough re-entry has been I would say the perspective has shifted greatly. While we thought it a once in a lifetime trip, we are already thinking about our next trip.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Thank you is all I can say. It was beyond our expectations.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were prepared, with credit to Swoop for making sure that was the case.
