What was your most memorable moment?
The panoramic view that I shared with my wife at the top of a bluff that our guide took us to. The hike and resulting view was not a highly advertised hike, but instead was a little climbed area that our guide knew about. Both the hike and view were amazing.

The boat trip on the lake was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone going to Patagonia.

Franco was the best guide I've ever met. He knew so much about the region, Chile's history, and always told the stories in a way that captivated his audience. He was friendly and kind. His own stories of crazy bike trips up and down these mountains inspired us all to push ourselves a little bit more.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
I'd recommend they use Swoop. Simply put. I think they could find the right trip for them through your planners.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It's changed my view on using tour companies. I was expecting an "off the shelf" variant that had no life, but this trip really surprised me. As I described earlier, everything was taken care of and prepared with great diligence.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Keep investing in guides like Franco and the wonderful people at our camp.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I felt quite prepared and excited for Patagonia. I have some experience traveling so I was not concerned about that, and obviously I had seen pictures and heard tales of how beautiful Patagonia is.
