Tell us about EcoCamp
Everything about EcoCamp was beyond my expectations. I've been wanting to stay there for a long time now and it was a fantastic experience. Loved the snacks and access to coffee/tea before dinner while relaxing in the community dome.
Tell us about the Trekking
Our guide Felipe was one of the best guides we've ever had. He was so knowledgeable about everything in the park and was easily able to answer all our questions about the animals, native plants (scientific names included), geology, and weather. He had a great energy and attitude that kept everyone in the group happy and excited to be hiking.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Be ready for the unexpected. We had our small airline (SKY) cancel our flight last minute the morning we were supposed to fly to Puerto Natales. We were able to find an alternate flight to Punta Arenas and catch a bus but it added a lot of time and stress to the journey. It seems like flights to Punta Arenas are more reliable so I'd plan on being picked up from there if we come back one day.

It strengthened our perspective on sustainable travel.
