Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
Terrific location, comfortable lodging with rustic resort feel and great to finish the day with dinner seatings and fine wine. Guides were very attentive, accommodating to the group's needs, and always made us feel comfortable and prepared.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Guides are totally worth it - they provide great insight into the culture, history, and fauna. And help you to manage the hiking time and transportation (ferry schedules) so you don't have to worry about it and can enjoy your vacation. Take gloves!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Gained new perspective on the indigenous peoples and the impact of the western settlement in Patagonia. The calving of the glaciers and floating icebergs made climate change visceral.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The video conference call with Carys was incredibly helpful. The team was very responsive to our questions. Danny helped plan a great, complex itinerary for us and our daughter, with different travel plans
