What was your most memorable moment?
Not just one. So many aspects of my stay at Patagonia Camp were outstanding. The accommodations were fantastic, from my sweet and comfortable yurt to the restaurant food and staff to the guides and drivers and other staff. The views while hiking were stunning and spectacular. Sitings of wildlife added to the overall experience.

Tell us about Patagonia Camp
Loved my yurt, the food prep and variety, the staff, the guides, the excursions. The guides were excellent: not only knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share their knowledge, but they also were attentive to all and ensured that anyone who needed help or extra attention received it. One guide in particular, Nacho, shared some of his photography and videography skills. The whole experience exceeded any expectations.
Tell us about the Horseriding
We spent a day at a working sheep/cattle ranch- La Estancia Guido. Very interesting. We met several gauchos and were able to observe them working with the sheep. Would have liked to ride horses longer than two hours. Our guide, Kity, was great. It was a perfect way to spend our last day.
Tell us about the Trekking
As previously mentioned, the guides were excellent- knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, a pleasure to be with. There were plenty of hikes to choose from, ranging from easy to difficult. I did not go beyond moderate level of difficulty but those were rewarding with stunning vistas.
Something Else?
I loved the experience at Patagonia Camp that Swoop arranged. Would do it again.
Would you consider another trip to Patagonia with Swoop?
Yes
Would you be interested in travelling to Antarctica with Swoop?
No
Would you be interested in travelling to the Arctic with Swoop?
Yes
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I’m a seasoned traveler. I felt both prepared and excited . I packed light - a carry on and a small backpack. I could have left some clothing out.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I did not find the webinars helpful as they were at the level of travelers with little experience and did not involve the time of year -April- when I traveled.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Know your level of physical conditioning and what level of hike is realistic for you. Others are affected when someone is really slow or has to turn back because the hike is beyond their capability. Patagonia is beautiful and so worth experiencing.
