Beautiful landscape, appreciated the pre-trip webinar where weather was discussed. We came prepared with all the needed equipment.
Tell us about the Trekking
It was great to have a private guide. Our guide was incredible - we really enjoyed her and appreciated her knowledge of the geology, fauna, and wildlife.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very prepared - we trained/hiked quite a bit before leaving and had followed the packing list.
Would you consider another trip to Patagonia with Swoop?

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
We really enjoyed staying at the Chalten Camp - we wish we could have stayed another night there. The Hostaria Senderos hotel was nice because it was in town and we were able to explore, however the water in the hotel went out one night into the next day, which was unfortunate, but made getting ready for bed and waking up a challenge. The hotel in Calafate was again on the outskirts of town and in this instance, it would have been nice to stay closer to town so we could walk in to experience the town a bit and have dinner.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I work in the environmental field and it had always been a dream of mine to see a glacier. It reaffirmed my work.
