Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Take the time to stop and admire the views, especially on the Torres del Paine rocky trail. So much time was devoted to looking down at our feet to navigate steps carefully that it helped to stop often to enjoy our breath-taking environment.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
This trip has reinforced the practice of consulting the local experts to maximize the experience. So much knowledge about culture, nature, and safety can be gained. Sustaining and protecting natural species and landscapes is even more crucial after the trek and trip see the penguins!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Thanks for the timely replies to email questions and payment reminders, as well as the information webinars.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
The adventure planner was very helpful in providing information about the trail conditions, packing items, and weather. Unless we misinterpreted the information, knowing our first day was an elevation gain of 4,000 ft., not 2700 ft., would have aided in our preparation.
