Tell us about the Trekking
Guides were fantastic - knowledgeable, hilarious, friendly, observant, and proactive. The guides made the trek incredibly enjoyable, even in some extreme weather conditions. They knew what gear to recommend, when. Got us out early the first day to try to beat some rain. Were incredibly patient, and paced the group (and split into two groups at times) to ensure everyone was having the best experience possible. Were willing to take small groups on additional, extension hikes (suspension bridges) the last day. They were quick to encourage, support, and share positivity that kept the morale high and light-hearted throughout the trip.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Incredible park. Every view was spectacular. Vivid and vast. One of my favorite National Parks I've ever been to. Is now on the list for a return trip!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
On the first day, mid way to the towers (I was struggling a bit), one of our guides looked at me and said, "You know, you don't have to choose the hardest path. You don't have to step on every big rock. Look for the easy way." And then he asked if I wanted to follow him, and catch the rhythm. I did. And it changed everything. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this moment. What a metaphor for life.
