Really crowded. But it was a Saturday and at the end of the season, so lots of day hikers.
Tell us about the Trekking
The guides we split between our group of 6 and the other 4. Both Felipe and Israel rotated between the two groups so we got to know both of them quite well. True professionals. Couldn't have been nicer and more caring.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
People over 70 years of age should understand that this is a challenging trek
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The very frequent contact from Swoop seemed to completely fall off once we departed for Chile. Unless I missed your emails I don't think we saw anything from you once we flew to Santiago. Directions were very clear that we were being handed off to your partner in Puerto Natales, but considering how incredibly attentive you were up to the day I felt it would've be a nice touch for you to check in with us during the trek. We all used wifi at the refugios.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Extremely prepared thanks to your wonderful check lists and orientations.
