Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Always build in buffer days because wind/weather can detail your plans! Also, only get hotels with 24hr reception since the weather might also cause you delays. But it's beautiful! Just set your expectations up to have major disruptions due to weather :)

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

I might not believe "expedition" when I see another agency/company market a cruise that way.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

Be more prepared to talk to young and/or active people about what the Australis cruise is really like. It's an old people/not active people boat. I asked some of the guides if our boat was normal or not and he said it actually looked like it "trended younger." But they all said it is generally old people who aren't very active.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

We had a great time overall exploring the different areas :)
