What was your most memorable moment?
Full Paine excursion with Joaquin and Alejandro -- stunning scenery, terrific background info from Joaquin about the park, its history, geology, wildlife, etc., and lovely, end-of-day surprise snacks and drinks with both guides.

Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
It's a great location, but the hotel needs some work. Simple things like having more hooks and hangers in the bathroom and closet would be good (a total of 3 hangers and one hook for 2 people staying several days is not good enough!). We were hot in the room but couldn't open the windows because of so many mosquitoes -- some screens would help. The wait staff in the restaurant seemed very inexperienced -- service was very slow and uneven. The lamb barbecue was great -- it should be better advertised by the hotel.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
We were very happy we stayed in the park and got the package deal. We thought the hikes were a bit more difficult (or required a bit more time) than the descriptions predicted. We were very happy to have brought binoculars -- the chance to observe wildlife clearly was super.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Learning about the effective genocide of the indigenous people who had lived on these lands for so many centuries was moving.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
As mentioned above, special thanks to Marcela for dealing with our logistics to snafus, and to Danny for his great help in the initial stages of our planning.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
The website helped greatly in getting prepared, both in terms of what to bring and what to expect with the hotel and excursions.
