In Torres del Paine, it is a toss up between the first day with Joaquin & the driver (who was super but I don’t remember his name) and our last hike with Matthias. Bothe experiences were fantastic. The guides were excellent. It was mind-blowing.

Life changing

The hotel was fine but it needs to be modernized. The restaurant staff try very hand but they need better training. For example, water and drinks should be brought over immediately. Bread should then come with the special butter followed by the amuse-bouche, if there is one. Soon after, the meal order can be taken. This however was not the case. It seems that the restaurant staff was always overwhelmed. As hard as they tried, the service was never good. The bar staff too needs training.

The hikes were fantastic as were the guides and the drivers. On one excursion, there were more birders on the bus.. The driver was very accommodating to the birders, which inspired the rest of the group.. For example, the driver spotted an eagle, and made sure to pull over to the side of the road so that we could all see, take pictures,, as well as find the nest. It was great that the driver was attentive to the needs of a few passengers because we all benefited. The guide also was excellent and ensured that we would see as much wildlife as possible. We also took a hike with one guide who was fantastic.

Of course. Very e should take a trip to Patagonia.
