Tell us about Explora
Five stars. The moment we landed at calafate, explora took very good care of us. The staff were all so friendly. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and accommodating to our fitness level
Tell us about Remota
I was disappointed with level of service and hotel accommodations. Wifi is super spotty - you have to be in the lobby to get any service. Food was okay. We were less than impressed with the quality of the menu and the staff seemed inflexible given my dietary restrictions. The tours were okay - there was little communication/planning involved when booking the tours. Most of these excursions don’t need a tour guide (glacier tour). Moreover, they need to update and market their excursions better - I had the soft package, but very difficult to find information on what kinds of activities were included in that package

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Travel light and be well prepared. You don’t need to be in the best of shape, but some of the best hikes do require moderate fitness. The views definitely make it easier to accomplish. Make sure you have proper gear
