Probably reaching the top of the trail at the base of Torres del Paine. But maybe reaching the top of the trail at El Chalten.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Give yourself plenty of time to get there. Patagonia is a LONG way from the US. Also: be prepared for the weather being a bit chilly even in the summer.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really; it was truly beautiful to see.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
We had an issue with the NUMBER of guides in the Chilean portion of the trip. Our group expanded from 4 older people to we 4 plus two "kids" in their 30s. Very different hiking speeds. Though we had some problem with SWOOP, ultimately SWOOP resolved the issue fairly, openly, and kindly to all. For that reason, we recommend the company. Unfortunately for SWOOP, as the issue was being addressed my wife complained on this site (Lisa Hemmer). She regrets this, but SWOOP tells us she cannot edit her remarks. Her comments don't reflect the resolution or her accurate response, but only her error in pressing send too soon. SWOOP handled all of our communications with interest and fairness, and we recommend the company.
