Nothing in particular stood out as a moment, I'd say it was more just being surrounded so consistently by the amount of natural beauty in the park. Just breathing in the fresh air, seeing all the beautiful views and how they change as you trek along or as the weather changes or the wind picks up. Just being immersed in this environment was what made it memorable. And being able to drink from the streams was a very cool bonus.

Great holiday

I just want to reiterate again how great our guides were and please be sure to treat them well because they deserve it.

My favorite days were probably our long days to see the towers and the glacier lookouts. There was a lot of elevation change on those days and they were definitely tough hikes, but they were so amazing and we say so many different ecosystems and environments. Also, I'm a sucker for a fun rock scramble, so I very much enjoyed the type of terrain we had for those hikes.

Definitely pack correctly. If you're going to overpack on any one item, let it be socks. Changing my socks frequently was a life saver when it came to blisters.

It was a wonderful reminder at how big the world is and how important natural areas are. I hope that more countries can value their natural lands in the same way. Also, being able to drink from streams is truly a wonderful gift.

Treat your guides well, they deserve it.

Since my friend was the main planner for the trip, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got incredibly excited once we were flying into Puerto Natales and extra excited once we were on the trail. I felt very proud of myself as I was more prepared than I thought and was very glad for the packing videos and advice about proper backpack style and size.
