Reaching the peak of the Base of the Towers trek! It was a tough trek but so worth it!

Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
We loved our quad room. It was perfect for us. The hotel is in such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Service was great. The excursions and guides were perfect. We loved the ranch with the horses. The only complaint I have was dinner in the main dining room. The service was very slow. We ate there two of our four nights and dinner took 2+ hours, which was frustrating when were we trying to get in bed for early treks the next day. The other two nights we ate at the bar and it was wonderful! The bar is so lively and the cocktails are amazing!

The trekking days can be long but the rewards are worth it!

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It's definitely a reminder that this world is vast and beautiful place to explore. We had to practice hard work and determination and as a result we experienced a lot of joy!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We felt very prepared and excited! We had exactly what we needed because of all the information you provided on your website and via the links in the travel planner.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I could not have organized this trip without the expertise and recommendations of Sydney and Rachel. You all have "been there, done that" and can give first hand advice. Your expertise in this part of the world is extraordinary. Also, the plethora of information on your website is phenomenal. I read it all so many times and it really covered all the bases, from how to pack and even how to buy boots, the food, currency, navigating airports, etc. Your webinars and the you-tube clips on your website are also tremendously helpful! A regular travel agent could not come close to providing this wealth of information. You are truly experts in this part of the world! Also, the only reason I said no to the Arctic and Antarctica is because we have already been! But if we went back, we would use you for sure!
