Tell us about Explora
Room was lovely. Housekeeping was really great. Food was 6-7/10. Excursions were beautiful. Nacho and Juan David were wonderful guides!! Kind, fun, intelligent, and fantastic personalities. Some of the guides/staff was not living up to the Explora standards (they seemed young and at times even “gossipy” behind your back, which made you feel uncomfortable).
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Please pass along the feedback to Hielo company for the Perito Moreno tour yesterday: “The tour by Hielo was strangely dampened by one of the tour guides (her name is Cecilia), who was extremely rude to the guests (and actually straight up inappropriate at times; everything from her angry tone of voice every time she addressed people to how she would be much more preoccupied with hanging out with her girlfriend and taking pictures than actually be there for the guests) - but the guide Martin, and especially his other guide assistant Martinas, were incredibly sweet, so it’s too bad that the impression was so mixed (it’s a big deal when you spend a whole day together).
