Tell us about EcoCamp
Place is very special. I think we were spoiled with a superior dome as some of the other guests we talked to weren’t as thrilled with their accommodations. The staff and setting were incredible.
Tell us about the Excursions
Excursions were great. Well guided and supported. Nice variety to choose from each day.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
As two 60 year olds can’t emphasize enough the need to prepare for the more strenuous hikes. They were demanding for us but we knew to prepare ahead of time (which we did) thanks to your advice.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
More open to guided tours in the future.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
My only complaint was communicating was difficult. When you call the number it instructs you to dial the extension of your host. I was never given anyone’s extension. Also, your information give on hiking poles turned out to be incorrect which resulted in us checking our bags due to bringing our own. Also, the daily agendas had changed from what is posted on your site. I felt a phone call to Ecocamp would have avoided the mix ups versus what is on their website.
