What was your most memorable moment?
Honestly, after hiking all day in El Chalten, going to the Glacier Piedras Blancas, then arriving at camp to find our tents completely set up with sleeping bags ready and a lovely dome with snacks and drinks prepared! That was such a beautiful sight after a beautiful hike!

This place was beyond my expectations! The food was fabulous, the people super kind and fun, and the nature was incredible. This was my first stay in a dome and I loved it!

The estancia Nibepo was a nice touch.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
They should understand that everything is far apart therefore lots of time in buses and vans.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I’m concerned that too many people are going to the bathroom very close to the creeks and rivers that people use for water. It is important to protect this area.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
When going to the EcoCamp It is not environmentally friendly to have people take the bus all the way into the office in town then have to retrace the route in a van to get to the camp. The van can pick groups up at the boarder stop which will save at let 2 hours in a van after an already long travel day.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I was added to the trip a week before departure so I felt a bit crazy. I hike a lot so physically I was not concerned.
