Realizing the sound of thunder we were hearing was a glacier melting, and then seeing the ice cascade down the mountain

Tell us about Los Glaciares
Above our expectations. Highlight was the variety of hikes and the relaxed atmosphere of El Chalten
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Much more challenging hiking than expected, mostly due to rockiness and grade of the trails. Very worth the effort. Highlight was living with glacial lakes and mountains the entire trek, from various perspectives.
