Paid for Refugio accommodation every night in Torres del Paine, except for glamping night (which was wonderful), so would expect some partial refund for tent accommodation the last night.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Go. Prepare, do a bunch of strenuous hiking to get your body prepared. One hiker had to drop out half way through due to a knee problem.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Should show up, at least once to represent. Otherwise it just feels like you just take your cut off the top and don’t care about our experience.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I hiked Everest National Park in 1995 and have wanted to hike Patagonia ever since. It was great to finally do it and I wish I hadn’t waited so long but the delay made it particularly poignant and satisfying for me that I can still do something like this.
