What was your most memorable moment?
W trek was spectacular, all the locations were wonderful. Felipe and Hector (guides on W Trek) were standouts. Trip was exceptionally well planned and executed by the Swoop team and partners. Communication was excellent and we were impressed.

Something Else?
Happy to chat if you all want have questions or want feedback, we have done lots of tours on six continents and I feel like we had decent perspectives. We loved our interactions with Swoop and will most likely use them again, we would also be happy to serve as references for US based prospective clients.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
We should have built in a couple of rest days. For mid 50s, pretty fit people, we did a *lot* of hiking (we calculated 80 miles) and that was with cutting one short. We were fortunate with excellent weather for almost all our treks-this helped, if we had worse weather luck I would imagine we would have felt a bit overwhelmed. People need to realize, W trek (especially first and last hiking day to Grey Glacier) and Laguna de Los Tres Hike are pretty crowded-certainly compared to other treks we have done, or even to a busy summer day in our home town of Boulder, CO which sees a lot of trail activity.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
We feel like we really experienced a great part of Patagonia and got to know the geography and some of the people and towns.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Overall, team was great. All communications were complete, accurate, timely and clear. The W trek webinar and "what to pack" was good information. I would suggest suggesting some "off" days in a long trip like ours-by the end we did feel a little like we were in a grind because every day we were doing something (at our request). We also need to be realistic about how much hiking is involved-the W trek is excellent, but that in addition to going right into three long days in Chalten turned out to be a lot. We consider ourselves pretty fit hikers...and we aren't what we were in our 30s, but I don't think we had a good handle on how long of a hike each day in Chalten would ended up being.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
