The French Valley hike was the most memorable its many amazing views, changing weather patterns, dramatic landscapes, and spectacular boat rides.

Tell us about EcoCamp
The room exceeded our expectations. It was well appointed, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water for showers.
Something Else?
The Ecocamp staff was incredibly attentive, warm, and always anticipating our needs. Our guide, Renee, was outstanding and perfectly suited to our family and the greater group. He firmly believed in keeping the group together and never letting slower hikers feel like they were holding up the group or that they had to rush to keep up.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were extremely well-prepared, thanks to great help and the packing list from the Swoop team. The videos and Zoom calls with Swoop had us all very anxious to leave for our adventure.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Having quick dry pants, smart wool tops, and waterproof boots and jacket are critical for maintaining comfort in the changing weather conditions of Patagonia.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Carys was exceptional at advising and preparing us for our epic adventure. She was very responsive, shared pictures from her own travels, and even met us for dinner in Puerto Natales after our trip.
