Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
Great guides and excursions . The excursions mostly had small groups which was great. Room and bathroom a bit rustic. Food great. The lamb barbecue was delish if you like lamb.
Tell us about Santiago
Loved the hotel and the location. Beautiful courtyard and great breakfast buffet. Strongly recommend.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Spectacular park with lots to see and do. Highlights included seeing guanaco and pumas.
Tell us about the Excursions
The guides were excellent and really made the experiences great. Also met lots of interesting travelers from around the world. An important point for future travelers is to explain that not all excursions go every day, and that things get cancelled because of weather.
Something Else?
Book excursions in advance , then ask be flexible because things might change. We were told we could book what we want when we get there which turned out not to be true because of limits.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Your recommendations for what to bring in terms of layers , waterproof items etc were excellent. It’s was colder than I expected and I wore everything and was ok.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Be clear about how to communicate in case of emergencies. Explain about the excursions not always being available.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Well prepared by your packing and other tips.
