Tell us about the Trekking
Both our guides, Hans and Margery, were not just great professionals but also great human beings. They took great care of everything and everybody in the group. They also were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the land , vegetation, geology, birds, animals and history - we learned a lot from them even though we read a lot about Patagonia

It was not obvious from Swoop what services it can offer in addition to W-trek. I had to book all accommodations and transportation. Even manage to stuck in Puerto Natales airport because can not catch bus or taxi
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Connect to local providers and investigate options that they can offer, including starting from and finishing in hotels in Torres del Paine instead of Puerto Natales
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
No, we wanted this and got exactly what we expected. We also added 2 days in the park to be sure we see all we want, including animals and birds
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Make yourselves more available- I was waiting a lot for responses and I never was able to reach anybody in Swoop by phone - only answering machine with standard phrase “Too busy - call back when we are not busy”. In contrast, local team in Puerto Natales was responding promptly. This is why I do not plan using Swoop again
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
It was third trip to Patagonia and second to Torres del Paine - we were well prepared. By the way, some recommendations from Swoop about how to pack were useful
