What was your most memorable moment?
Everything. From start to finish, everything was so well organized and easy, it allowed us to fully appreciate the trekking experience and the absolutely AMAZING beauty of Torres del Paine.

Tell us about Torres del Paine
Indescribably beautiful! Even though you have to focus on your feet a lot to make sure your footing is secure, every time you look up over the course of the trek, you’re confronted with achingly beautiful views that will move you to the core.
Tell us about the Kayaking
I would recommend it. There’s something so cool about kayaking through icebergs. And the gear they provide keeps you warm and dry, so you don’t have to worry about the cold water. The guides were really great, too.

I was initially a little anxious about the cost, but it was well worth it! I couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
We were really fortunate with the perfect weather we had. However, I was grateful for the packing tips and guides Swoop provided, so that we would be ready for anything. We met some people who had done the trek a week earlier and they had all rain and snow. We would have been well prepared if those had been the conditions we experienced.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I’ve always loved hiking and being in the mountains (I’m from Colorado after all). But I don’t think I’ve ever been moved to tears like I was from the incredible beauty we witnessed in Torres de Paine. Such a wonderful place on this planet!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Felipe was so great. Also, our guide from Chile Nativo (Cristobal) was fantastic - a great person with a lot of knowledge about Torres del Paine, super helpful and very cool. We really loved him!
