Tell us about EcoCamp
5 stars. On one of our three days of excursions the options were not great. You ought to be able to do both the Towers and French Valley hikes.

Not to be missed one of the great spots of tbe world.

Loved being there. Good to have alternatives planned if a trip is cancelled due to weather.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
5 nights and 6 days in El Chalten was a lot. I’d say the day with an am hike and lake kayaking in pm was missable. Going to the hut in Les Humeles was fantastic, but the original plan was way too light. It is only a 2 hour hike each way and that is all you planned for two full days. Our guide improvised and we had a fantastic day, but it required a lot of rearranging things and could have crashed. You also had us leaving the next day at 5:30 pm leaving us nothing to do that day. We were able to move up the transport and still did an extra 2 hours of hiking. I would build in time at the bird reserve in Califate - Nimez. It is well worth it if you like birds and scenery is wonderful even if you don’t. Would highly recommend a day trip to Valparaiso for those with an extra day in Santiago. Very interesting trip plus a wine stop tour via Viator. Guide for BA was a solid B+ but we had to pry information out of her and she did not provide big picture story of Argentina for us.

No other than much more knowledge of Chile & Argentina.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Offer an add on to Igwasu Waterfall. Did not realize this was an option. Feel like I missed this and not likely to get back.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very. It was great.
