What was your most memorable moment?
Crossing snowfields and rivers in the Andes, carrying bikes hours from the nearest support. Properly life affirming!

Tell us about the Biking
It was tough. Be prepared (appropriate kit!) and train harder that you think you might need to, your backside will thank you - there are very few paved roads! The experience is just incredibly rewarding. Our guides were supportive, knowledgeable and adapted as the weather changed so we all had great fun! Just do it. You won't regret it!
Tell us about Argentinian Lakes
Stunning scenery but harsh riding conditions. If you dream of carrying bikes across snowfields and across rivers this is the environment for you. Simply wonderful!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Have a reasonably good idea of what you want to do - Swoop were incredibly helpful putting meat on the bones. Train well and make sure you have the right wet and cold weather kit.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
The most memorable comment from Diego (one of our guides) - "you're here because you are alive". It just reminded me that life is about lived experiences and doing stuff.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Would have liked to have trained more but made up for that with determination and experience. The trip was everything I hoped it would be and more
