Every minute. We packed so much in - our motto was "Every day is the best day". It was all beyond expectation!

Just a note that there is now an ATM in El Chalten so you can get local currency. It's in a building the locals refer to as the "blue box". A bright blue building in the middle of town. You are limited to $10,000 ARS per withdrawal.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Definitely follow the advice to wear clothing for all four seasons every day. We were constantly removing and adding layers and always comfortable. And be prepared for lots of wind and wind gusts. Also, enjoy the time off your phone screen!!!! I love that we had no service in Chile and restricted in Argentina. Phones became cameras and besides a quick check in with loved one from hotels at night, there was no electronic intrusion, no outside noise. We listened to birds, had conversations with strangers and truly lived in the moment.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I've always tried to live in the moment. This trip just reinforced that it is the way to live life. The best trip. Such a beautiful and magnificent world we live in!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Everyone was terrific. I would absolutely recommend Swoop for anyone wanting the perfect trip.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
No. We were so well prepared.
