Seeing something like 10 glaciers on a perfect weather afternoon as the ship took an extra and unexpected spin into a fjord. And when a double rainbow had all the guests AND crew running outside for photos.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Black Diamond stretchable rain coat was the very best item we all brought. It was lightweight but provided great wind and rain protection. Also bring a puffy jacket and a base layer. And bring a buff. But also bring a couple T-shirts! Climate change is real! We didn’t need two changes of base layers!! Best combo that we witnessed: A tight-ish fleece with a hood. Place a baseball cap under the hood. Then you have sun protection on your face, coverage on your ears and the hat won’t fly away. The wind was relentless so make sure you have a cap that can stay on!. Pack light and bring a small baggy of powdered Tide - if you are staying anywhere more than one night you can wash items in the sink or tub with a teaspoon of Tide, rinse and wring and hang items the bathroom and things will be dry in 24 hours. Carrying around a big suitcase is just not necessary.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
The glacier melt is dramatic. We know this. But seeing it up close makes it so real.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
